About
I’m Gianlu, a full‑stack web developer based in Italy (remote). I enjoy building small, dependable systems: fast websites, clean APIs, and tooling that removes friction for users and teams.
What I do
- Web apps with pragmatic architecture and clear UX.
- Performance & accessibility improvements for existing sites.
- Consent‑gated analytics and tracking setups that match your policies.
- Backend work (APIs, queues, automation, Linux tooling).
What I don’t do
- Dark patterns, misleading UX, or “tracking first” implementations.
- Unreviewable codebases without docs, ownership, or deploy clarity.
Working style
- Small milestones with quick feedback loops.
- Written decisions for anything that affects privacy, security, or performance.
- Accessible by default (keyboard navigation, semantic structure, readable contrast).
Stack highlights
I’m comfortable across the stack: TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Go, Linux, HTTP, and modern static-site tooling. I keep dependencies small and prefer solutions that are easy to host and audit.
