Who is responsible (data controller)

What data is collected

  • Contact form / email: the contact form composes an email in your email client; if you send it, I receive your name, email address, and message content.
  • Server logs: basic technical data needed to operate the site (e.g., IP address, user agent, request path, timestamps).
  • Cookie preferences: your consent choices (stored as a necessary cookie).

Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)

  • Responding to requests (Art. 6(1)(b) or 6(1)(f) GDPR): replying to messages and providing requested info.
  • Security and reliability (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): preventing abuse, debugging, and keeping the site available.
  • Consent-based analytics/marketing (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): only if enabled and you opt in via the cookie preferences.

Analytics and advertising

By default, this site does not load analytics or marketing pixels. If analytics/marketing tools are added in the future, they will be blocked until you opt in via the cookie banner, and this policy will be updated with the provider and details.

Data retention

  • Contact messages: retained as long as needed to respond and follow up; typically up to 24 months unless ongoing work or legal obligations require longer.
  • Server logs: retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting; typically days to weeks depending on the hosting/CDN provider.
  • Cookie consent: stored for up to 12 months unless you change it.

Processors and third parties

Hosting and email providers may process data on behalf of the controller. If additional processors (e.g., form providers, analytics vendors) are used, they will be listed here.

International transfers

If data is processed outside your country/EEA (e.g., by hosting providers), appropriate safeguards will be used where required.

Your rights

  • Access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability (where applicable).
  • You can withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing.

To exercise rights, see Data requests or email [email protected].

Complaints

If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you can contact the controller first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Children

This site is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
